NoodleSaigon20 is the fresh noodle brand of Saigon 20 Group Limited Company, the first unit in Vietnam to introduce a new technology solution that allows fresh noodle strands to be frozen for preservation while still maintaining their original texture, without breaking, preserving the traditional flavor and perfectly blending with the broth.
Originating from the demand for fresh noodle strands from Vietnamese restaurants in South Korea, NoodleSaigon20 began with a small pho factory in a corner of the splendid capital city of Seoul.
In 2015, Saigon 20 Joint Stock Company was established in South Korea and made a name for itself with the brand Phở Tươi Sài Gòn 20 - the first fresh pho brand in South Korea.
After a long testing process with all types of rice available on the South Korean market without finding a candidate that truly produced fresh pho noodles meeting Vietnamese flavor standards, coupled with the discovery of the need to freeze pho noodles for preservation by restaurants due to the lower daily consumption of pho noodles by the local population compared to that of the Vietnamese people, the company researched advanced freezing technology, enabling pho noodles to maintain their original texture and excellent flavor even after thawing.
From those discoveries and technical foundations, in 2019, Saigon 20 Group Limited Company was established in Vietnam. With abundant and diverse varieties of rice, the most suitable types were selected to produce delicious fresh noodles for us Vietnamese to proudly introduce to friends around the world. Since then, in addition to fresh pho noodles, the company has developed two more product lines: thick noodles (commonly used in beef noodle soup) and thin noodles (used in grilled pork noodle, crab noodle soup, etc.), all of which are very popular. The brand NoodleSaigon20 replaced Phở Tươi Sài Gòn 20 officially from then on.
In 2020, the first batch of fresh pho noodles from NoodleSaigon20 was exported to South Korea, marking a new breakthrough for traditional fresh pho noodles from Vietnam. In 2023, NoodleSaigon20 began its presence in Japan. Currently, NoodleSaigon20 has been widely distributed throughout South Korea and has also been welcomed by the Japanese market.
